Overview of IT Security Evaluation Facilities (ITSEFs)
SERTIT is responsible for approving IT Security Evaluation Facilities (ITSEF) who carry out evaluations in accordance with more explicitly Scheme criteria. ITSEF shall act impartially and neutrally.
Companies operating as an ITSEF under the Norwegian IT Security Certification Scheme have to be approved according to specified criteria, and to be accredited as a test laboratory according to NS-ISO 17025. The companies also have to carry out a Trial Evaluation to demonstrate neccesary understanding to Common Criteria, and Common Evaluation Methodology.
SERTIT has approved four companies as ITSEFs under the Norwegian IT Security Certification Scheme:
