New advisory board for SERTIT appointed
13. April 2007, The Ministry of Defence has after consultation with the Ministry of Justice and the Police and the Ministry of Government Administration and Reform appointed an advisory board for SERTIT consisting of eight members. Chair for the advisory board is Ingvild Myhre, Network Norway AS.
SERTIT recognised as certificate-authorizing participant in CCRA
February 27. 2006, The Norwegian Certification Scheme for IT-security was on February 23rd recognised as certificate-authorizing participant in CCRA.
The first certified Norwegian IT-product.
June 1. 2004, The Norwegian Certification Autority for IT Security (SERTIT) has issued the first certificate in Norway according to the international IT-security standard Common Criteria to Thales Communications AS. The certified product is Thales Operator Terminal Adapter (OTA). OTA is developed and produced in Norway by Thales Communications AS in collaboration with the Lindesnes based company Applica AS.
Norconsult approved as IT-Security Evaluation Facility (ITSEF).
December 17. 2003, The Norwegian Certification Authority for IT Security, SERTIT, approved on the 16th of December 2003 the Norwegian firm Norconsult as an ITSEF under the Norwegian Certification Scheme for IT Security.
System Sikkerhet approved as IT-Security Evaluation Facility (ITSEF).
November 19. 2003, The Norwegian Certification Authority for IT Security, SERTIT, approved on the 5th of November 2003 the Norwegian firm System Sikkerhet as an ITSEF under the Norwegian Certification Scheme for IT Security.

October 14. 2002, Press release 01/2002 The Norwegian Certification Authority for IT Security (SERTIT) is established as a voluntary scheme for public certification of IT security in products and systems. SERTIT is a part of the Norwegian National Security Authority (NSM). NSM is responsible for preventive security in Norway.
